The 76th outing of the Loreto Golf Society, kindly sponsored by Sports Surgery Clinic
It has been a great honour to have been Lady Captain of one of the Oldest Ladies Golf Societies in Ireland, The Loreto Past Pupils’ Golf Society.
After a number of meetings beginning in February, May 13th came upon us. A group of great golfers from many Loreto schools headed out to try to win the coveted Stephanie Frame trophy. Our winner was Niamh Leonard from Loreto Dalkey and the overall school’s prize went to St Stephens Green. Congratulations to you all!
Hermitage has been our venue for a number of years now and we are so grateful to them for granting us the honour of holding our outing there again. The course is stunning and the friendly hospitality there is second to none.
Thank you to Ann Murray, Bronwyn Byrne, Eimear Cowhey, Mary O’Gorman, Stephanie Graham, Neasa McKiernan and Sally Ann Fanagan for their wonderful help, making the day a great success.
Thank you to Santry Sports Clinic for their very generous sponsorship of our outing.
Finally to you the Loreto girls who travelled from Wexford and all around the country, thank you for your support and for making my day a really memorable one.
I look forward to seeing you again this year.
