TIME : SHOTGUN START @ 1.15 SHARP

Hi Everyone, I am delighted to advise that we have had a super response to this year's Loreto Past Pupils' Golf Society Outing "Shotgun Start". There has been a great interest declared by so many golfing past pupils', that it is clear that our 70th Anniversary Golf Outing this May will be very special.

We are delighted to announce the well known Politician and Celebrity Bainisteoir, Mary O'Rourke, (Past Pupil of Loreto Bray), has very kindly accepted our invitationto be our 'Guest Speaker' on the night.

Please note that the "Shotgun Start" will now commence at 1.15pm instead of 2.30pm as previously advised. The Timesheet for this year's outing will open daily from Thursday 12th April at 11am and will close on Monday 30th April, or sooner if the timesheet is full. We strongly recommend you book early to avoid disappointment as we are sure this event will be over subscribed.

Judy Byrne Murray will manage our Timesheet and she can be contacted on 086 3611788. Please DO NOT contact Judy before the Timesheet opens.

The cost of this year's golf and the dinner will be E65 (payable in advance). Please make your cheque payable to Loreto Past Pupils' Golf Society and send it to : Judy Byrne Murray 4 Castleside Drive Rathfarnham, Dublin 14 It would assist us greatly if you could write your contact number on the back of the cheque.

Golf prizes on the day will be awarded for : Overall winner of the Captain's Prize Gross Prize Class Prizes Nearest the Pin Longest Drive Best School Prize....which, as always, will be hotly contested (and will ensure "bragging rights"to the winning Loreto school for the next 12 months!!)

We are delighted to advise that there will be a complimentary Pre-Dinner drinks reception from 7.30 - 8.00pm (kindly sponsored by Hermitage Golf Club) and dinner will follow immediately.

If you are unable to play in the golf outing but would like to join us for dinner, please contact Judy and let her know. The cost of the dinner is E25, (payable in advance). Please send your cheque to Judy at the above address and also please put your contact number on the back of the cheque.

As usual, there will be a Charity Raffle and Charity Auction on the night to raise funds for very worthy Loreto Charities. I very much look forward to seeing you on the day and I am sure the 70th Anniversary of our Loreto Golf Society will be a day and night to remember!!
